Friendly staff tried to make our stay enjoyable.

I was extremely frustrated with the check-in process. The receptionist claimed I booked a smoking room, which I did not, and left me to resolve it with the travel agent after making me wait for over an hour. To make matters worse, when I returned to the reception, she acted as if she didn't recognize me, further escalating my annoyance with the lack of proper customer service.

My stay at Innside By Melia Yogyakarta was delightful. The spacious room featured modern decor, and the rooftop pool provided breathtaking views of Mt. Merapi, perfect for relaxing with friends. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive.

The friendly and helpful staff made my stay pleasant. The Innside Room with a stunning Merapi view was quite spacious and extremely comfy. I appreciated the fantastic waterfall shower that provided a refreshing experience, just like the breathtaking mountain view I enjoyed every morning.

The overall ambiance of the hotel was just warm and welcoming! I loved how they managed to blend both business and leisure vibes, felt like being at home. The staff was super helpful and even brought me a fresh fruit platter while I was unpacking!

The location is quite isolated, with the nearest dining options being a Lotte off-price shop next door. not ideal for those wanting a variety of eateries. The breakfast service struggled with replenishing items, often running out of popular drinks like orange juice. Room amenities left much to be desired, including a lack of proper wardrobe space and some cleanliness issues like stained bedding and shower mold, which can be off-putting for longer stays.

The breakfast offered enough vegan and vegetarian options, yet it would be enhanced with a broader salad selection. Exceptionally friendly staff made each meal more enjoyable, especially at the breakfast bar. However, the room service menu lacked basic soups and salads, limiting dining flexibility.

It was a suitable option for a brief stopover in Yogyakarta with a good price-quality ratio. The room had a nice view of Merapi that was quite refreshing. For a better experience, check the room for cleanliness before settling in.
